I am planning on adding map switching from 91 to e85 next month and I know that I will be able to run much higher boost with e85, somewhere between 26-30 psi and wondering if the stock IX bov could handle this? Does any one know or will I need to get another re-circulating bov?

My plans are as follows:
- ETS 3.5" IC
- 1000cc injectors
- AEM intake
- ETS UICP (questionable...this will cost me an additional $500 with the mini battery kit).
- Cosworth cams and BC valve springs and retainers
- Tune for 91 and e85

I am ambitious to hit anywhere around 400 whp on the stock turbo.

Feedback will be appreciated.

Sorry Pete but I don't know for sure. Your best bet will be to contact someone like David Buschur
at Buschur Racing or maybe 9sec9 on evom.net.

Just a question Pete. Why only an Upper Inter Cooler Pipe upgrade?
Did you already upgrade Lower Inter Cooler Pipe? With an upgraded 3.5" I/C + bigger
UICP, won't you get too much air-flow restriction with an OEM LICP?...
Especially at the LICP "U-turn" into the I/C?

1000cc injectors... Cosworth cams... AEM EMS...
Looks like you have a GT35R or bigger in mind soon. Wink

Thanks for the follow up.

I do have the LICP already.

The guy I'm switching to is pretty good, have a read about this project he's working on: http://www.socalevo.net/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=37&topic=66011.60

Freaking speed is addictive and yes, the possibility of upgrading the turbo will be next Wink

I'm scared with the amount of boost you could get and the life of the engine. I guess I could look at it this way, if it breaks, stroker kit, 2.4L Razz
