DIY Workshop Tools & Equipment... How To Equip Your 'ASYLUM' On The Cheap!
Quote:
Yup, it's nice to look at pretty pictures of cars, tools and fancy equipment...
but it's also VERY frustrating for most who want to DIY...
but can't afford the ridiculous prices charged for tools and equipment today.

So... instead of sulking... JUST MAKE YOUR OWN!
Yup plenty stuff is "out of your reach" but many are easy and pretty cheap too!

Ever wanted to CLEAN A RUSTY PART? How about spark plugs, pistons or cylinder heads?
Tired of an ordinary wire brush... or even a drill with a wire cup brush?
Here's a DIY Sandblast Cabinet that's easy and cheap to build...
Quote:
The main component is a clean 55-gallon drum with a removable top.
These should be available from 'NP' or from Chemical Supply companies.
Add some MDF or plywood... a cheap syphon feed kit from Eastwood... rubber gloves...
a portable air-compressor... and an old vacuum cleaner and you're good-to-go.

That might seem like a lot of exra stuff... but with blast cabinets costing $1100 US this is a BARGAIN!
