Peugeot places its webTV on line
On the occasion of the 2008 Geneva Motor Show, Peugeot inaugurates its webTV.
Accessible from the institutional site www.peugeot.com, a website specially dressed up in the colours of the Geneva Motor Show, or via the www.tv.peugeot.com portal, the Peugeot webTV offers cybernauts four channels dedicated to the Brand in four languages (French, English, German and Spanish).
Brand news in images
The first channel, "News", shows video presentations of all the Brand's new products. From recently presented models such as the 308 SW and the Partner Tepee and Bipper Tepee to the presentation of the new team of Peugeot Sport drivers, all topical subjects are covered. The events of the Geneva Motor Show will also be covered by news stories: press conference of Jean-Philippe Collin, Managing Director of Automobiles Peugeot, interview with Gilles Boussac, Peugeot Products and Markets Director, visit to the Peugeot stand, etc.
Design in motion
With about twenty films of the various concept cars born of the creativeness of Peugeot stylists, the "Design" channel offers a new opportunity to see all these fascinating vehicles in action. Cybernauts will also be able to discover there the brand new film of the fantastic 308 RC Z.
The Peugeot product range from all angles
A third channel, "Products", provides an opportunity to view videos of all the products of the Peugeot range and, on the occasion of its first worldwide public presentation, the film of the new 308 SW.
The BLUE LION approach
This fourth channel shows Peugeot's longstanding commitments to protection of the environment and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Accordingly, cybernauts will be able to learn about the various programmes carried out by the Brand, with, among other things, the carbon sink, the diesel particulate filter system, fuel cell research, new engines, etc.
A webTV to be shared
The new Peugeot webTV offers all the web 2.0 functionalities appreciated by cybernauts: possibility of scoring videos, subscribing to an RSS feed, sending videos to a friend, filing them among one's favourites, and also the possibility of copying the url in one's blog.
And in addition to these functionalities, each film can be viewed in two modes: in full screen mode, for full-size effect, and in normal mode, in which each film is accompanied by commentary and explanations.
Peugeot WebTV online as of 4 March 2008 on www.tv.peugeot.com
