BIG price differences... Eclipse/Evo 3 $320 US... Evo 8 $900 US... Evo 9 Mivec $1100 US.
Exactly who is the manufacturer anyhow? _________________ Walk softly... and carry a BIG stick! |

Thanks Narend. BTW does Talonted have a contact number?
Buschur Racing sells the same thing at the same price.
Maybe with a little discounting it will be more affordable for me. _________________ Walk softly... and carry a BIG stick! |

Hi, this is Craig aka talonted. I've been building C.O.P systems for several years and is one of the best mitsu mods. This system has 40,000 volt coils and produces a much smoother power band as was visable on our Dyno jet dyno. Under high boost (20psi and above) these coils make a difference. With more spark energy you get more even combustion. More even combustion means more horsepower. You will even notice a difference in idle quality.
Buschur sells the system for the Evo 8 for $1,100/ OUR coil on plug $950.00 with polished aluminum plate, 4 NGK BPR7ES, 1 Leather Wallet laser etched with evo 8 logo.
Buschur's system for DSM's $340.00/OUR coil on plug system $320.00 with 4 NGK BPR7ES plugs, 1 leather wallet with DSM logo
I'm not knocking his system, simply comparing.
Buschur's system doesn't have the polished mounting plate option. It comes with cheap wire loom and doesn't have the plastic connectors that clip onto coils. His wires that connect to the coils are super glued onto the connectors. These connectors are an additional $5.80 each x 4 so maybe that's why he left them out.
Our systems all come with the oem plastic connector, all wiring is soldered and heat shrunk neatly. These could be used on a show car if you opt for the polished or Anodized plate. We also now have custom laser etching on the Anodized plate and can customize with your shop/race team name.
The reason for the big difference in price between the DSM coil on plug sytem and the evo 8/9 system is the CDI box. The CDI box alone is $550.00 We use M & W ignitions out of Australia they make cdi ignitions for real race cars. This box outshines the HKS DLI by MILES . If you haven't heard of nightmares of HKS'S cdi boxes failing you will soon. I've had customers and friends that had the HKS CDI box and after only 1500miles it stopped working.
Here is the link to our system for the 91-99 DSM's http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=320078860480&rd=1&rd=1
Here is the link to the EVO 8 system with CDI:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=320078726196&rd=1&rd=1
If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
Thanks
