well according to citymotors they do not service the transmission as in overhauling it they take it to ths place called genton in el secoro were they only deal with transmissions if i am not correct ask them the next time you go there, seams to me they are afriad of goinig into the trans which is prety bad seing that they claim they service it as in changeing oil and solonied valves and i herad they are very pricey. _________________ AlexDel |

they are supposed to be transmission specialists but I was not aware that they were doing work for city motors.
if that is the case then they can repair the renault tranny's also, they are the same.
I will check with my contacts in City Motors about Jenton. _________________ Livng life one day at a time

yeh if i am correct it's DPO/AL4,but i herd that if u are overhauling it the transmission kit is very expensive something like nine grand and that's not including labour! _________________ AlexDel |

when I was at Renault, a replacement transmission cost $52,000.00
the whole car (CLIO) cost $95,000.00 on the road at the time.
It would almost make more sense to but the whole car and sell off the rest of parts. _________________ Livng life one day at a time
