For the 2008 season the Swedish Touring Car Championship will have one supplier of fuel - Lantm�nnen Aspen Petroleum AB. They will provide environmentally classed fuels, acrylic fuel HP-plus, bio ethanol E85 and Agrodiesel.
"The fuels that we now introduce completely follow the environmental rules that the Swedish Motorsport Federation and Svemo has put up. For us it is important to do what we can in our business to take responsibility for the environment," said STCC MD Bob Huzell.
Lantm�nnen Aspen Petroleum AB are pleased and find it important to show that it is not impossible to get environmentally friendly fuels and performance at the same time.
"We want to show this and that is why we have joined the STCC organization in this project," said Claes Alin from Aspen Sweden.
Other than running on the same type of environmentally friendly fuel the teams do not have to bring their own fuel to the races as Aspen provides for the transportation.
