WHEN it comes to cars, Pisceans prefer Peugeots while Virgoans go for
Volkswagens. Those born under Aquarius are most likely to buy Minis but shun Fords, while those whose star sign is Aries are Renault fans. Land Rovers and Audis are the favourite vehicles for those born under Gemini, while Cancerians like Mercedes-Benz and Jaguar cars, research from the Black Horse Motor Finance company revealed. Entitled The Car Buyers Guide To The Zodiac, the study is based on car-buying decisions made by more than 70,000 customers.

The research revealed:

CAPRICORN:
Sensible, stubborn and good with money. Most likely to buy Volvos, or possibly Mazdas.

AQUARIUS:
Independent, lively, inventive and original. Least likely to buy a Ford and most likely to buy a Mini.

PISCES:
Dreamers - idealistic, romantic, poetic and sensitive - and most likely to purchase a Peugeot.

ARIES:
Fiery, passionate and impetuous and likely to be Renault buyers.

TAURUS:
Famed for their love of comfort and the finer things in life. Prefer Volkswagens.

GEMINI:
Known for their dual personalities, versatility and inconsistency. They buy the most Land Rovers and top the table for Audi purchases.

CANCER:
Protective and nurturing, but very entrepreneurial and resourceful too. They are the greatest purchasers of Mercedes-Benz and Jaguar cars.

LEO:
Flamboyant, extrovert and very proud, they are the main purchasers of Vauxhalls and also like BMWs.

VIRGO:
Hyper-critical, fastidious and neat. They like Volkswagens.

LIBRA:
Fair-minded, diplomatic and willing to seek compromise. They purchase more Citroens than any other star sign.

SCORPIO:
Intense, passionate and jealous, they are really into Fords.

SAGITTARIUS:
Enjoy freedom and spontaneity. They spread their affections equally across all the major car manufacturers.
