WTK - INTERNET EXPLORER PROBLEM

I bought a Dell laptop in July of this year. It came with Vista Business and the usual Microsoft stuff.

Recently, the Internet Explorer seems to be crashing at least once every hour. I have Mozilla Firefox also installed which I usually use for surfing the net, but there is a particular site that I visit (for the university which I am attending) that does not support the Mozilla browser. So, to get the full output from that site I use IE.

It is very frustrating to be re-starting IE all the time as I also have to go through the logging on process to the university's web site every time.

I always check the windows update site regularly to download any fixes, but the damn IE is still crashing.

Any ideas of what could be the problem and how to fix it?

Right now my IE on vista home edition it do frezzes at times and it restarts, i feel IE always have bugs in it that we have to live with...Right now i just dealing with it..
