New S-Class featured in Car & Driver Sept. '05 Issue

Wheelarches seem to be influenced by Mazda's RX-01 concept / RX-8 production vehicles. Car & Driver is cautious of the new COMAND system that mimics BMW's iDrive but looks forward to driving the newest S in a few months time.

man, MBs lookin less and less distinctive imho, especially back end........that front fende r definitely loks RX8ish, but I'm sure the designers would say the RX8's wheel arches mimic DTM racers.......chicken and egg?????

Amazing how everybody diss BMW's iDrive, and now everybody have it in some form or fashion, and toutin it as the best thing since slice salami
