A fresh Wii bundle could be about to join the tried-and-tested original.

While Sony and Microsoft have recently been devising and tweaking new console SKUs at a head-spinning rate, Nintendo has so far refused to tamper with the one and only Wii SKU - such has been the success of the machine, theres just been no need.

However, eagle-eyed internet spotters over at Codename Revolution have just stumbled across a UPC code for what one anonymous retail source claims is a new Wii console SKU. The name of the product, Wii Play 'n Learn, seems to hint at a package aimed at younger gamers, possibly with an educational slant.

Right on cue, internet forums are now ablaze with suggestions that this may involve bundling Big Brain Academy with the Wii, and perhaps Wii Play as well for good measure. Naturally, this is pure speculation for the time being, a piece of hearsay that may well disappear into the ether every bit as fast as it arrived. All well say for now is: watch this space.
