Honda has sold out of its track-ready Civic Mugen RR in Japan. Based on the new JDM Honda Civic Type R, all 300 copies of the Mugen Civic were spoken for in the first 10 minutes it was available, even though the car won't be delivered until January. The Honda Civic Mugen RR stickers for �4.7 million.
The Mugen RR furthers the Type R's performance by adding more power and reducing its weight. Honda claims the car can lap Japan's Tsukuba circuit in 1:06:38.
Honda has no current plans to sell the Civic Mugen RR in the United States.
