Two weeks ago I had the opportunity to attend a lecture with Al Gore. I am an environmentalist by profession and I noticed that some of you looked at his movie " AN Inconvenient Truth" I am very curious to know if people from other backgrounds (other than environmental studies), subscribe to what is depicted in the movie? Do u think its just doomsday prediction or reality?

Nope, I Just saw the trailer preview, yet to see the movie........I think everything is summed up to give us a shock, but we really do need to care about how we live.
We all take these things for granted, until Al Gore gave us the " An Inconvenient Truth"..........I believe its pure reality at its finest.

Well it is also a lot of politics in there, but the shock value is very real. The general media does not tell us enough of the reality of the situation - of course their profits depend on consumerism and the belief that everything is ok... however, it's quite serious.
