For the third day in succession, Ferrari took P1 as testing continued at Barcelona.
After two days of pace-setting work for Kimi Raikkonen, team-mate Felipe Massa guided the Ferrari to top spot on Wednesday. The team appear to be in ominous form ahead of the forthcoming Spanish GP.
Intriguingly, it was the Red Bull of Mark Webber which took second place in the timesheets, followed by Jarno Trulli's Toyota. World Champion Fernando Alonso could only record the fifth-fastest time, behind Renault's Heikki Kovalainen and only fractionally ahead of BMW's Robert Kubica.
It was a dismal day for Williams, however. The team departed early after Nico Rosberg suffered a 'considerable accident' during the morning session. The youngster was passed fit after a precautionary medical check-up.
