I don't know who watched the post race lap by Jeff Gordon when his car was pummelled by beer cans and other missiles. NASCAR has to clamp down on this type of "redneck" attitude by some of its fans.
What these people expected Jeff Gordon to do? Let Dale Earnhardt keep his record of 76 wins? I mean, fine they don't like Jeff Gordon, but they could take some consolation in the fact that he is unlikely to break Richard Petty's record of 200 wins. There is no real or justified reason for that type of behaviour. |
