Mercedes have unveiled the 2007 C-Class that they will use to defend their DTM title this season.
The car will be officially presented at the Geneva Motor Show this afternoon.
Mercedes are expected to confirm that reigning champion Bernd Schneider, former world champion Mika Hakkinen, and young drivers Jamie Green and Bruno Spengler will stay with its factory AMG operation and receive brand new cars for the 2007 DTM.
2005 series champion Gary Paffett, who is returning to the DTM after focusing on McLaren Formula One testing last season, is likely to make do with a year-old machine.
Since the DTM was revived in 2000, Mercedes have only twice been beaten to the championship - by Audi drivers Laurent Aiello in 2002, and Mattias Ekstrom in 2004. Schneider has been responsible for all of Mercedes' title victories bar Paffett's 2005 success.
