This may be of some help
http://www.trinimini.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=66&sid=1c4cb69cb7a4b7a54ed2baf477f51c09

Pioneer Financial of Aranjuez Main road, has agreed to give the mini club premium rates on the insurance of our cars.
at approximately $500-$600 PER YEAR
This is an excellent price as i have been paying $400 for six months all the time.
After checking many agents, and insurance companies and being turned away because they stopped insuring 2 letter series cars , this was a great relief.

Hopefully this will put an end to our insurance woes.

Special thanks to Rodney Ramsaran and Neela for their assistance

Pioneer Financial can be contacted at 638-8483

well dome Ravi.
I could see pioneer financial cornering the vintage market.
just hope its more coverage than just a piece of paper "a la B&L"

The MG was denied renewal by Capital. We are getting it done thru Motor and General, and have taken all our business (three other cars) from Capital, although they not really bothered by that

A friend of mine was denied insurance for an older van that they had. We ourselves in trouble, three of the cars in the yard have two letter lisc. plates, although they are not on the road.

well we have confirmed Motor and General is insuring the MG. I got Capital to do a letter transferring my 45% no-claim discouint to the new policy, which will start from tomorrow when dad collects it at the Princes Town branch. We've also moved the PAU Corolla and HSR policies from Capital to M&G. We told Capital where they can stuff it.....

Zodi, which company denied your friend?

ditto those sentiments, they take money by law, in case something happens, noone has to suffer becuase another poerson cant pay.
then make you pay more to settle (excess), and then chanrge you more in future.....................again, until "in case something happens".

feel i opening an insurance ocmpany soon yes. Evil or Very Mad

well its official, the MG is insured with Motor and General (Princes Town office). THey made no fuss. All I did was fax them the certified copy, inspection certificate and DP, and dad collected the policy. I also got my 45% discount from Capital transferred to the new policy
