Alpha 1 SRF (Silent Radical Force).
Using a chassis sourced from British firm Radical Sports Cars, e-Wolf has managed to build a zero-emissions track car powered by two electric motors and an array of lithium-ion batteries. These batteries are rated at 41.5 kWh and by themselves weigh 770 pounds.
Together with the batteries the entire car still only weighs around 2,200 pounds, and with its peak output rating of 375 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque the Alpha 1 SRF will easily accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 144 mph.
A full charge takes about eight hours using a regular household power outlet though the driving range is an impressive 186 miles. Limit your top speed to 31 mph, however, and your range increases to around 250 miles.
The biggest sticking point is price, with the e-Wolf Alpha 1 SRF listing for €215,000 (approximately $306,000) before taxes though if you can afford it we’re sure the car will be a great deal of fun.
Other vehicles in this category include the Formulec EF01 electric race car, which is currently in development, as well as the AC Propulsion electric race car that recently tackled the Pikes Peak Hill Climb in Colorado.
