Runimation Studios on behalf of Pagani Automobili has released this stunning new video for the Pagani Zonda Tricolore.
The Zonda Tricolore was created as a tribute to the Italian National
Aerobatic Team known as Frecce Tricolori (meaning Tricolour Arrows in Italian). The team is celebrated its 50th anniversary on the 11th and 12th September at Rivolto Airport (aeronautica.difesa.it). The team flies the Aermacchi MB-339-A/PAN, a two-seat aircraft capable of 898 km/h at sea level, with nine aircraft and a solo, the highest number of aircraft of any aerobatic team in the world.
Based on the Zonda Cinque, the Tricolore has some distinctive differences. The front end features special LED lights that look like the tail fin of an airplane. Instead of the Cinque's air intake snorkel, the Tricolore has a small vertical fin on top of the engine cover. A clear blue lacquer (polish) coating and Frecce Tricori-mimicking strips running on the sides of the car complete the impressive body look.
This Zonda Tricolore was unveiled in Geneva earlier this year with a price tag of €1.3 million (US$1.76 million).
