Sheldon Bissessar is again pitting his skills against some of the fastest cars and drivers of PTO (Pro Top Outlaws). This weekend at Mt. Park Dragway, Kentucky, he will be competing and testing his set-up for his bid to officially claim the title of the fastest Top Dragster in IHRA. (he also changed the Red on the car). The set-up was changed back from the TAD (Top Alcohol Dragster)set-up to be able to compete the rest of the year in TD.

When I spoke to him earlier he said he ran a 3.86 - 1/8ml , with a 60' of 0.967 (the racing is 1/8ml for the faster cars on this track). This was his first run and so far it was the fastest time in qualifying for this group. Today there are the other qualifying and elimination runs. Best of luck.

Just spoke to Sheldon. He made it through the elimination rounds and made the final. However, the transbrake on the transmission was giving some problems before the final and the other guy was asked by the officials to let Sheldon have some time to fix it but he refused so Sheldon had to default. Sheldon said it did not go down well with the crowd and the other competitors but that's how it is sometimes.
