who else would have been allowed by ferrari to drive it?
which raises the question... do car manufacturers supply their own drivers who can then be the stig, for testing of those cars......... ala Bugatti Veyron.
then the stig makes even more sense.
yes there will be in-house (top gear) racers.
but now manufacturers / owners can be even more secure knowing who's piloting their million pounds (not dollars) worth of machinery around the top gear track.
