Now for the bobawl:
They say that Paul Bourne fly dong some sadis from Prodrive to tune his car to ensure maximum attack.
"That Corolla is reeeaaally fast!" were the only comments to be heard from the Prodrive fella.
Well ....what yuh wuh de man to say? He dun collec' his money from Paul and cah meh deh Scoobie goh any fasstah!

I just spoke to the man himself! John tells me that this was a RallySprint Event put on by the Motoring Club Barbados Inc. (MCBI) in Barbados. Essentially it is a 5km closed public road single car, DRIVER ONLY run from Ellsmere to Woodland.
John says the course was "quite difficult" as it starts off with a slippery tarmac that snakes through the menacing cut-rock and then progresses into long straight with fast sweeping corners that come to an abrupt hairpin turn that requires tremendous braking skill.
There were 22 cars involved in this event including Paul "Surfer" Bourne who flew in a tech from Pro-drive to help better his chances. John however, said his Version II Corolla, he thinks, is definitely superior to the old Version I. All his dials were turned down to setting one of four so that he could focus on learning the new car and the evidence is there, John continues to improve and has taken his 3rd win in 3 entries across the Caribbean. This however, was his first win in Barbados.
We hear the surfer has flown to Prodrive for parts in preparation for next weekend's Sprint at Sailor's Gully. John, on the other hand might just have to turn up to '2'...
