Stunt biker Jason Britton gets hero�s welcome

Hundreds of local bikers showed up at the Piarco International Airport on Wednesday night to welcome top American stunt rider Jason Britton. The bikers lined the streets from the airport to Grand Bazaar, as he passed by in a Range Rover. They later formed a convoy, following him straight to Atherly�s by the Park, San Fernando, for a real Trini lime.

The local bikers performed dramatic stunts on the highway, which were captured by members of the international media who has accompanied him. Britton, the host of Super Bikes, has been invited by Intense Motorsport Action in collaboration with the Save The Children Foundation for a number of shows over the Easter Weekend.

Local performers, including Lyndon, Mad Max, Muff and The Stunt Life Crew, who will be among those performing along side Britton, were among the bikers who turned up at the airport. Accompanied by his wife and manager Kendi, Britton took the time to shake the hands and greet every biker who turned up to welcome him. Fans also had an opportunity to take his photos and be photographed with him.

One enthusiast also made a strange request, asking Britton to help him convince his girlfriend to allow him to buy a bike. Britton laughed, and obliged. At Atherly�s by The Park, Britton also showed off his culinary skills as he traded his bike and helmet for a pair of thongs and a bar-b-que pit.
