Created by RedOctane (www.RedOctane.com), this game was given a 9 out of 10 by gamespot.com and according to them it "...plays fantastically, it has great music, and, for a change, it's a rhythm game that's accessible to beginners." I would have to say I agree having tried this game recently.
After the first four round my hands started to fumble as the strain from holding the relatively light guitar replica controller (you can use the keypad but it's less fun) started to kick in. My solution to the wrong notes was to sit and play or perhaps to engineer a strap that would fit me perfectly.
With blistering tracks like the Beavis and Butthead popular "Smoke on the Water" by Deep Purple I would recommend it to those who love rock and roll AND to those who always wondered why people do. If you love ANY kind of music you will enjoy this rhythm-based game.
