|
|
when I had my lancer wagon (company car), I did some interesting things with it, leading me to believe a Mitsu Wagon is a pickup in disguise:
practicing handbrake and J turns on Toco beach in the sand without getting stuck
driving through a muddy Cedar Hill Stage at 100+kph without getting stuck / not breaking anything
trying to jump a drain off Cedar Hill stage and nose-diving into drain with no bodywork damage...ok so I ripped off a stonesheild when my brother-in-law lifted the front of the car so I could reverse out of teh drain, but no biggie
following a 4wd Hilux through bush taller than the hilux, making the road as we went along, driving over some unseen boulders
Trying to drive through a pothole filled with water, misjudging the depth, tippin the car up to the windshield in muddy water, and then reversing out with no damage done (the pothole / lake at the southern end of the road that runs past UTT in Couva
anyone have any stories to add, JUNKI? _________________

hmm,
our ck2, really has nice handling. even compared to the 323f in its current state , that car would make the entrance both into block 1 from the downhill, or the entrance to palmiste from dumfries, at well over 80k.
for those who dont know it, the downhill would take you to 50miles, and the entrance is a narrowing left turn of a lil bit more than 90deg with a slight incline and pothole to dodge then.
as for the entrance from dumfries, would hit the turn in at 60miles, to then turn into an s the 1st part is slightly elevated with a runoff on the right into the drain . if you take that at less than 90, you clipping a concrete cylinder.if oyu take it at more you end up in the mud, cause the road make a 45deg right after the cylinder.\
and yes miles not K

Sideways through the S-bends on the stretch from Golconda to the cross crossing interchange (do not attempt, seriously!).
Slight sideways action through the interchange itself (I serious, don't do it!)
Spinout on the Lady Young road on second bend going uphill ( Ent I tell you doh try it, was not intentional, thank God I alive)
Spinout on some road in Penal (Ok, so I deserve that one, was playing the arse)
Fly off the road on the M2 on that infamous bend (Luckily slowed down enough befor going off the endge to avoid any damage)
long story short, don't mess with corners on wet days
Ohho, and I forget, going through Flood in Caroni after seeing many ppl turn around and go back. Car was partially floating for some of that stretch. _________________
