Big respect to that team! Those are some fast times for any Pro Mod car, 6.9 is deep into V8 territory. Ryan Garcia's best I think was 7s. 1400hp from a 2.0 is amazing.

Best run of that kind of car that kind I've seen run personally was a Camaro V8 single turbo, tubbed out as well, narrowish body, did a 5.96 and ran straight and true. Which says that this car still has potential but I'd imagine the combination of gears, powerband and launch must be all carefully managed as is. Plenty gears changing in the Eclipse's run too. Imagine if they didn't restrict the turbo or add weight to the car?
