Heads Up guys... TROUBLE!
How many of you with newer Evo 8s have suffered a failed water-pump?
ie. The Core (Freeze) Plug in the water-pump "blows out" if you hammer it before
the engine is fully warmed up. Even after "fix" (replacement) and even after a compression
test shows no problem... you get oil mixing with water in coolant system anyway... Rolling Eyes

Detonation + Head Gasket = Core (Freeze) Plug??

Another very good reason to use both the ARP head-stud kit + Evo IX (5-ply) Cylinder-head Gasket???

Comments???
