ALMS: 2008 Ford GT-R

The legendary Ford GT made a return to racing in 2008 in the GT2 class of the American Le Mans Series at the hands of Robertson Racing. The production Ford GT has been developed into a race car via a wider track, new suspension geometry, and a more aerodynamic body with fender flares and additional front and rear spoilers. Under the hood is a Roush/Yates-prepared naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Later in the 2008 ALMS season, Black Swan Racing entered yet another GT-R in the GT2 category with Falken Tire as the major sponsor.
