Ok.....you might be in some more luck, I cannot use stock handbrake set up with my new brakes as it does not come with OE fitting for handbrake cable, so i have to also invest in hydraulic handbrake which i have ordered already, however the cost may now definitely go back up. What you getting is handbrake cable new from the company, rear disc, calipers with pads, brake lines all clips & fittings included....complete setup. Please note there is no wheel bearings included in this. The new price is $2,500.tt |

NO NOT COMPLETE, remember this came off my car which never had rear disc so i my rear wheel bearings or spindle will not be sold as i have to retain this for my new kit. When i got the original setup from the bamboo the wheel spindles were not good, so i had to purchase from N&M just the rear spindles, this i cannot sell. But this setup has already been sold giving the purchaser this info in advance. |

LionTamer, i need your advice here. Yesterday my mechanice notice left front side shock has leak, small one, but these are gas shocks i bought 6 years ago. Do gas shocks have liquid in them? If so and i need to change it what is a good brand to buy, but i want to use back my lowering springs. |

Actually Gas shocks contains both gas(Nitrogen) & Hydraulic oil, so the answer is YES, gas shocks have oil in them too. Well firstly what brand of lowering springs do you have now? How low is the ride eg: 25mm drop 40mm drop? Do not use OEM shocks with lowering spring beyond a drop height of 20mm as the dampening rate & rebound is not taken into consideration on OEM shocks.
It is advisable to use after market as these take height into consideration. Many brands exist, i previously used SPAX PSX line(spring & shock combo). This is what i would recommend for pugs that are not extreme, you can get shocks only SPAX krypton to work with springs you already have.
Check website spax.co.uk, always remember that compatibility is important so even if you want to use existing springs the spring rate may not be best suited for the new shocks, so consider new shock with springs, which gives a tuned suspension. let me know. |

Bilstein shocks and lowering springs. The front is 50mm and the rear is 60mm. The car do take lots of runs so i am thinking if the springs will be good. You do have a point about the shock that can be mismatch with the springs then i still back to square one.
The bilstein work fine but i am wondering if 6yrs is good usage from them. |
