My car is a peugeot 306 sedan 93-96 model...Only 3 years ago i have decided to upgrade & restore it..I had a choice to sell it but i have decided to keep it..
My car engine: 1.8 8v and is stock up till this date..So far i have install an air filter with an exhaust..The air filter is a universal filter with a 3 A racing exhaust..
My suspension: I am using Bilstein shock & springs which i did bought from England. The car uses a rear torsion bar which can be lowered, which i lowered by 2 splines..
My wheels: I am using 17" League wheels with nankang tires 205/40/17...
Brakes: My front brakes is OEM but my rear drums was swaped away for rear disc..I bought a rear disc from a 306 Gti-6 from England. So a rear disc onversion was done..There are only 2 or 3 peugeot cars which have done this conversion in T&T..
Styling: Or i was told rice..I upgraded my OEM headlights to Projection/ Angel eye headlights..
My fuel cap is a Sparco fuel cover ..And finally there is Peugeot Lion's logo located at the trunk..The car has been debadged..I hope thats the right word...No peugeot signs..
Transmission: Semi 4-speed Automatic
Right now:
I need to invest in:
- Performance radiator
- Brakes lines
- Check over the electricals
Future Upgrades:
Styling: I am upgrading to this rear light..
And possible a front carbon splitter..Thats it.....I may sell my wheels..I saw another set..Sticking with 17"...
Brakes: Plans to upgrade or big front brakes..So much thoughts going through my head for this one..Either to go aftermarket or buy from a higher end Peugeot..
Engine: Presently my engine is doing 150km..Either i take LionTamer 1.8 bottom for sale or I buy a 2.0 16V DOHC...Plans would be to turbo..
Tranmission: Do a manual conversion...
Uses of this car: My daily car...Looking just to upgrade and restore this French car...
I post pictures of the car soon..

Actually it was right in front my face, i saw the mechanic took out a part and pull it out..I learning about the car each time it has a fault, at least i know what to look for when problems occur..
But i still feel the radiator to rebuild is a must this yr and soon.. |

Already replaced the thermo on the 106 twice. They seem to stick on a routine basis. Did you replace it with another one or just remove it completely and deal with the longer warm up time? |
