Aye if yuh only drivin' ah Slow barrow...Ahmm, ah Suboohoo  ...ah mean ah Subaru 
wha yuh expect people to call yuh  You're just a guy, in another 4wd car.  
Nobody can say much more than that... but if yuh give away or throw away dat ting an' buy,
beg, borrow or steal-a-chance in an Evolution... well then dat different, padna.
Let me explain... pay attention eh 
Ok... take a FWD Jap "econo-box". Add a 4WD system, and a 2-litre engine etc.
Develop carefully until you have The Lancer Evolution... 
Now compete in the WRC "Group A" Class (restricted modifications only) against
manufacturers in the "Open" class (almost unrestricted modifications)...
BTW on its debut in '93 Evo 1 was a full second per kilometer faster than the competition. 
Now win FOUR WRC Drivers' Championships, and ONE Manufacturers' Championship...
Let me repeat... this is a "Group A" car in the "Open" Class. 
... and do this FOUR times in FOUR YEARS
Ok, wake up ... now back from Disneyland... 
Take the standard US Evolution 8 and beat a Porsche 911 C4S, BMW M3, Audi S4 etc. etc.
Continue development until you get the Evo 8 MR FQ400...
"The Fastest 4-door Production Sedan In The World"... period
(175 mph / 0-60 mph = 3.5 sec.) 
This one outruns super-cars costing five times more, from 0-60 mph (often 0-100 mph too) like
Porsche Carrera GT, Pagani Zonda, Lamborghini Gallardo and Murcielago, Ferrari 575 etc. etc.
BTW Porsche's Carrera GT does 0-60 mph=3.7 sec and that is with a 605 bhp V10
More important, it corners better than some of them too.

....also any info you can dig up on the GDI engines for all the folks here that have both galants and cedias that use this engine.
local knowledge is limited and any help is greatful.
i'm tryin to find if there are any aftermarket coil packssold in japan for both the galant and evos as even red ct9a is complainin about his.
keep up the good work. i see great mitsu men live in de west...

Actually I need Galant GDI info myself. My wife has one as well. 
Even harder than getting info on ol' model G62B and G63B tuning,
for RWD 1800 GSR and 2000 Turbos.
