changed tires a while ago.
been impressed with a competitors use of Maxis tires @ solodex, and opted to try the street use model they had.
tracked it down, and bought a pair of the Maxxis UA-603 , placed at the front f the car.
LOVING THEM!!!!
previous problem has disappeared (was bad tires), and the cars handling is just as i like it. will under steer if pushed too hard. but with these tire's grip. just straighten, and brake. it works, and rear tires allow for easy rotation around front at will. i'm not driving to the edge on the street, maybe 60% of what i've felt out so far _________________ PROUD MEMBER OF D WAGON BOYZ @ DEX

So we had a dyno day............
wagonrunner wrote: | blacktriple_s wrote: | did you get what you expected? | yes.
light blue and yellow were in 2011. this year's values were lower.
red was with A/C on (higher hp).
dark blue is with A/C off. higher tq.
the car accelerates a lot better on the road than it did on the dyno this year though. |
Now noticed peak hp moved up 400rpm, though still lower than 2011's figures.
Any likelihood at all too much load was placed on the dyno?
The street acceleration is VERY different to what took place. _________________ PROUD MEMBER OF D WAGON BOYZ @ DEX

hmm.............shouldn't
were your tyre pressures the same as with your last pull? Were the tyres changed? Even a few psi difference in tyre pressure will yield different results, similar for ambient air temp _________________
