never watched the whole thing 
theres supposed to be a version out there with subs tho. I was kinda skeptical about how well they would have put the anime into a live action movie....but it looked like they pulled it off pretty well!!!

I have the dvd bootleg version subbed in english. It's a nice thing to watch, just 4get everything u know about initial D. Treat it as a new show & it will be good. All in all a very funny show.

Yeah I'm with Fuzz on that one... I heard the subs work with Win Media Player. I'm on Mac so you'd have to find some way to re-dub it and save the subbed file... Possible?

errrr...dunno about that. You're correct: the subtitles are a seperate file. I can convert the video itself to .mov but I don't know how to incorporate the subtities into the conversion as well.
I can put the movie up for download but I need somewhere to put it...I don't run an ftp.
