I did tell him that I changed the shocks and the brakes but I did not get into too much details. |

Aye it was a roadster, not a GT that he had. There was no back to roll around in - guess that rules out one place of conception
I was always in the front seat looking over the dash. _________________

Rear install:
Since the coilovers will be lowering the car, the stock eccentric bolt camber adjustment in the rear would not be enough to get rid of the excess negative camber. So I had to put on these adjustable rear upper control arms (RUCAs) from SPL.
The spherical bearing rod ends will also get rid of a lot of the slop from the rubber bushings in the stock RUCAs. However I am concerned about damage from road dirt and salt so I picked up some Seals-It rod end boots.

Yeah I have been impressed with the quality of their stuff. I have a few of their other pieces to install as well. I am finally getting around to doing it now that the S14 is no longer a daily driver. _________________

Rear install continued:
Matched the length of the new RUCAs to the OEM ones. Will get a proper alignment later on.
Here is the stock suspension with the shock and RUCA removed. The rear rotor is FUBAR so that will be addressed very soon.
After with the rear coilover and new RUCA installed

I picked up something AWD for a little more control in the winter. I'll get some pics of the garage soon. _________________

Final stance on the coilovers:
The ride is much firmer but I am getting used to it. The shocks are set at 7 out of 15 on all four corners and I am happy with it on most roads. No fender rub so far with the current tyres so the height seems to be good for now. _________________

Pics from a recent meet at the Connecticut shop - 240SX Motoring. On the cruise to the shop, we took over the highway with about 30 Nissans. I don't think that the other commuters were too happy.

A short clip during the cruise. My car is the first to pass by here.
