Hey guys. Just officially introducing myself to this forum.

I'm glad that this has started as I was actually going through the motions of having a similar Peugeot Owners Club which I was discussing with Mr. Howard of People's Auto.

My focus isn't too much on modifying just yet, I'm more concerned about the servicing and repair, supply of spare parts for Peugeots as I am privy to info on how much Peugeot sales have decreased and why the brand of the Lion is getting a worse and worse reputation locally. All this in turn affects the resale value.

What I also have in mind is an info exchange where Peugeot owners can share their problems (mechanical, electrical etc) and get advice.

Well that's me. Hope to be meeting some of you soon. I have about 10yrs of knowledge of the 106, 205, 206, 306, 307, 406 and 407. So I'l be glad to assist in whtever way I CAN.

L8rs

I hope this group will help end the Peugeot "suffering". We all have a lot to talk about.

I am stumped as to why local grease monkeys are afraid to service/repair a Pug or any euro for that matter.
I have been diagnosing and repairing my car for as long as I can remember,Save for the more complicated matters where either Sheldon, David, Leon or Cakes lend their assistance.
I have owned Japanese cars before and some of the problems are different especially rear suspension problems, but most are similar....
The parts are more expensive, some are even cheaper than Japs, but they last a hell of a lot longer than Jap spares....the ride and cornering is unmatched and I'm yet to see a Pug with CV joint noises....
The trade offs are obvious, more expensive parts, less qualified mechs to work on them etc... but these obstacles can be overcome.
This website http://www.306gti6.com/forum/forum.php has proven it's worth WRT Pug problems, diagnostic and repairs. With a little common sense and a place to work i'm sure most of the repairs done to your vehicles can be done by you the owner. You gain the experience and you can feel confident knowing that a new part was actually replaced......
I'll add a few websites to the Pug site thread that were very helpful to me...

Yeah the cars are really not that hard to diagnose and repair. I'm panning on getting the Pug diagnosic software to pull error codes and clear them.

hey guys,
I must say, I am quite enthustatic about this peugeot club. I am the owner of a 406, PBJ series and i like the idea of all owners poling our knowledge together to assist one another in keepin their car in pristine order.

Unlike most of you, I am not interested in modifiying as such, but in gettin tips on service, parts etc.
