So in addition to great coverage from Palm Bch this weekend, Zorce has a team covering the Rolex event also!

Practice sessions are on and the action is going to be starting off tomorrow with the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Race.

Drama already started earlier today,

The #99 car with Jimmie Johnson - The four-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion backed the Chevrolet-Riley hard into the barriers around one of the corners after making contact with a GT car. Johnson is reported to be bruised from the accident, but has been given the all-clear to race this weekend. had severe rear-end damage was sustained to the GAINSCO machine, with the gearbox and supports taking the biggest hit.

They will be repairing it and an announcement was just made about having parts flown in on Johnson's plane to be ready for tomorrow practice session..

Here's some of the line up for today's Continental Sports car challenge:

1. #46 - GS Class- BMW M3 - FAll Line Motorsports - Mark Boden , Andy Pilgrim
2. #15 - GS Class - Mustang Boss- Multimatic Motorsports - Scott Maxwell
3. #59 - GS class - Mustang GT - Rehagen Racing - Ken Wilden

Mustang and BMW is dominating the positions, with the Porsche Cayman starting at 12th position.

However the best lap times are held by the Porsches. Thus far, Martin Ragginger with a time of 1:50.298 with a best speed of 116.194 in his Porsche GT3 Cup car. His Team, Alex Job is working tirelessly as they keep off the guys from TRG and Magnus Racing (also two Porsche GT3s).

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Joao Barbosa held off Scott Pruett by 50.494 seconds to win Sunday's 48th running of the Rolex 24 At Daytona, giving Action Express Racing victory in its debut race. Terry Borcheller, Mike Rockenfeller and Ryan Dalziel shared the No. 9 Porsche Riley .

Sylvain Tremblay, Nick Ham, Jonathan Bomarito and David Haskell won in GT, giving the No. 70 SpeedSource Castrol Syntec Mazda RX-8 its second Rolex 24 victory in three years.
