ATTENTION MEMBERS
..
TTASA WILL BE HOSTING A 03 HOUR ENDURANCE RACE AT WALLERFIELD RACING CIRCUIT ON 27TH NOVEMBER, 2005
..
THIS WILL BE THE SECOND SUCH EVENT TO BE MANAGED BY VICE-PRESIDENT TTASA - JAMEER ALI - AND IS PART OF THE CHARITY DRIVE IN AID OF THE MARGARET KRISTO SHELTER FOR HOMELESS & DISPLACED CHILDREN.
..
OUR SUPPORT FOR THIS VENTURE WILL REALISE BASIC LIVING ITEMS SUCH AS DOUBLE-DECKER BEDS & PROPER MATTRESSES FOR THESE 30-PLUS NEEDY CHILDREN, REPLACING LEAKING ROOFING SHEETS, ETC ALONG WITH THE
NUMEROUS OTHER NECESSITIES FOR A BETTER STANDARD OF EXISTENCE.

A.S.R.'s BASED ON THE GENERAL SAFETY REGULATIONS AS PER THE CURRENT T.T.A.S.A. MANUAL

1/ NO ROLLCAGE REQUIRED FOR CARS BUILT AFTER 1999.OTHERWISE, MINIMUM 1/2 (HALF) ROLLCAGE MANDATORY
2/ PROTECTIVE CLOTHING MUST BE AT LEAST CHEMICALLY TREATED TO RENDER SAME FIRE-RETARDANT BUT, AS ALWAYS, SUITABLY RATED DRIVING SAFETY APPAREL IS MOST DESIRABLE
3/ ENTRANCE FEE IS $300.00 PER CAR & PAYABLE IN ADVANCE TO JAMEER ALI AT MOTORZONE IN ST.JAMES
4/ GRID POSITIONS WILL BE ALLOCATED IN SEQUENCE OF ENTRY AND ONLY UPON RECIEPT OF FULLY PAID-UP ENTRY FORMS WHICH ARE AVAILABLE AT THE MOTORZONE OFFICE.
5/ A MINIMUM OF ONE (01) DRIVER MAY BE ENTERED PER CAR, BUT THERE IS NO LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF DRIVERS WHO MAY BE ENTERED.
6/ TWO CLASSES OF CARS APPLY - A/ UP TO 1800CC B/ OVER 1800CC
7/ MANDATORY PIT STOP REQUIRED AFTER ONE (01) HOUR OF CONTINOUS DRIVING, BUT THERE IS NO LIMIT ON THE NUMBER OF PIT STOPS WHICH CAN BE MADE BY EACH CAR.
IN THE CASE OF A SINGLE DRIVER ENTERED FOR A RACECAR, THIS DRIVER MUST ALIGHT FROM THE VEHICLE AND WALK COMPLETELY AROUND HIS MACHINE WHILST RAISING BOTH HANDS ABOVE HIS HEAD, THUS SIGNALLING TO THE OFFICIALS THAT HE IS STILL PROPERLY ALERT AND CAPABLE TO CONTINUE SAFE OPERATION OF THE CAR
8/ EACH PIT MUST HAVE A STANDBY FIRE EXTINGUISHER (SEPARATE FROM THE IN-CAR UNIT) WHICH MUST NOT BE MORE THAT TEN (10) FEET AWAY FROM THE RACECAR WHEN IT IS BEING REFUELLED.
9/ THE 'WINNER-TAKE-ALL' PROVISION FOR EACH CLASS IS NOT FINALISED AND WILL BE ADVISED IN THE NEXT UPDATE FOR THIS EVENT
10/ REMEMBER TO REGISTER YOUR SUPPORT FOR THIS CHARITY IMMEDIATELY TO MR.JAMEER ALI
