I know the feeling. I have a collection of extra parts building. More extra parts now than actuall parts, albeit, not all of em are in good condition.

I'll have to swing by some day and check her out, looking great Cool

cool stuff man, but I can get everything from the Club, including uprated upper and lower wishbones with modified cross member to accommodate adjusted coilovers and electrical power steering. They also have reprofiled carbon rear leaf springs etc
All I need is the sterling Sad

nothing new to report, except I finally got around to putting tyres on the wire wheels, and trial fitting them on the car.....going from 195 60 14s to 175 70 14s.....I find the narrow tyres look dorky.....my dad loves me...........must be an age thing.........

old vs new:

all this junk still to go back in the car.....plus other stuff hidden elsewhere Sad

Rats love MG wiring.....and with abandoned land and a derelict house next door, even the dogs struggle to kill em all

should get faster (noticable?????) acceleration. easier to break the tires loose while turning.
at 175/70/14 , he'll be driving on ski's. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

significantly lighter steering and smoother ride over the bumps.
Cornering will obviously be affected due to the narrower rubber, but as Karl said, easier to break the rear loose and throttle-steer the car.....but I don't plan on using this wheel / tyre combo for dex.....I will keep the alloys and wider tyres for that.......
