If I put the 1600cc Kent back in the Escort, will the car be classed in GS or HS? The Escort supposed to be 1940lbs, and you have seen the engine. I would much prefer to remain in GS in this car. (Not too keen on a 1300cc, but that may be the only other option.) Question

I am pretty sure it would be a GS car
I know some dolts would see an escort and bawl ESP or some nonesense........but a stock 1600 makes meagre BHP

that's not a Cossie 2.0 with a 1600 valve cover? SS business.

It's the suspension that's adjustable. The engine is a geezer-powered 2 stroke (3 will kill it) Azkracha. The timing real off, and not all plugs firing. But it have plenty torque. A japanese upgrade that will definitely give it a snappier response and a longer run time would be a bright young thing (broad where a broad should be broad) - no english necessary

Who wants to live forever? Razz
But what a way to go.... Interesting form of suicide, though... with a japanese tool - would that be some form of hara-kiri?

MG, I would hate after having done all that shuffling of cars n engines (Kent, Pinto, Escort, Viva, Cortina, 302... watch them, watch them, round they go...) for some brightstar to get me kicked out of GS - where all the fun is.
I suppose I shouldn't build the Viva just yet... toss the kent in the Escort when I finish it, and run it a few times. If "some dolts see an escort and bawl ESP or some nonesense", well... I'll just put the V back together...
(hears a smash... sees Alan among the remains of a piggy-bank, counting change to make a hundred with a CARS query FORM beside him...)

Ford First On Race-day! (f...ing old rusty derelict...) Laughing
