2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class by Carlsson

The latest Carlsson E-class will be commemorating its introduction to the world at the Tuning World Bodensee in Friedrichshafen beginning April 30 up to May 3 this year. Carlsson has successfully merged sportiness and elegance in just one car.



The latest aero kit, which was created by Rolf Schepp, Carlsson head designer, instantly became the focus of spectators’ interest. The Carlsson E-Class comes with a totally new front apron with vertically installed xenon-light LED daylight running lights and a stainless steel grid beneath the radiator grill. A rearing horse, Carlsson’s famous emblem, which represents both power and class, is placed on the sides of an entirely re-designed front wings. The re-engineered active design language at the sides is significantly improved by the side rails.

The entire sporty look is completed by the rear apron attachment with the built-in air diffuser which is bordered by four stainless steel end pipes and the inconspicuous rear air spoiler. Polyurethane (PU-RIM) which constitutes the material utilized for the whole aero package, besides being lightweight, ensures fitting precision and the highest level of stability. The driver of the latest Carlsson E-class can take advantage of the intelligent lowering kit C-Tronic SUSPENSION during sporty events. Besides the ability to lower the car by 43mm, it can also continuously adapt the car to all kinds of road conditions. Thus, the control module always gets the ideal combination between sporty and taut adjustment and the highest level of driving comfort. To match the new Carlsson model, the wheel of choice is the 1/5 REVO, which comes with even double spokes of the one-colored rims with vital stat of 10.5×20 inches and each is equipped with matt black and a matt-varnished gloss-turned silver strut. The interior also received adequate attention from the Research & Development engineers of Carlsson.







Brushed aluminum pedal layers and ideally cut foot rests provide extra grip and can be secured for either automatic or manual powerplants. A nice, cozy feeling is created with its combination with the totally newly designed foot mats that sport the Carlsson emblem. Available also is a customized gearshift made of a combination of ultra-suede leather and turned aluminum door lock bolts. Carlsson has been approved by the federal motor transport authority of Germany and offers performance improvements for the models E 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY (40 hp extra performance) beginning June and for the E 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY (46 PS extra performance) beginning July. Compressor kit CM50K is also available including an entire exhaust system with racing header, high-performance catalysts and stainless steel silencers for the top-of-the-line E500 (55hp extra performance). Having confidence in its own products, Carlsson has extended its own warranty. Beginning this month the carmaker offers a three-year warranty for all its cars and products, without bias as to whether it’s new or used. Along with the Mercedes Benz Manufacturer Warranty, the German car builder offers a three-year safety for the whole vehicle. All Carlsson products come with OEM-quality parts and their safety was underscored by Mercedes, pointing out that using Carlsson products does not compromise their Manufacturer Warranty. Consequently, the Carlsson warranty is the ideal amendment to the car’s protection.
