What about reducing understeer for all the extra power?
Maybe a bit more attention necessary on the suspension side of things? |
I'm assuming using a bigger rear anti-roll bar would help understeer

^ ^ ^ Yup, it would. Bigger (26 mm) rear anti-roll bar was used very effectively in BozzSpeed's E6 RS.
Quote: | For best results, should be used with the following:
Cusco adjustable LSDs front and rear (adjusted very tight in rear, very loose in front)...
Cusco 02R street spec inverted strut coil-overs...
1" wider 9" front wheels & 8" rear wheels... with the same size tyres front & rear... etc. etc.
More important... you have to strip the E6 until it is 2,600 lbs. |
Complete specs. here... Link--> Beauty & The Beast - Mitsu MadMen style!
BozzSpeed's $0.02

If that doesn't get your blood boiling... ... then you're DEAD!... |
The weight-loss diet in particular is almost impossible for an E6 "daily driver."
An E6 "daily driver" without A/C isn't practical. These days other handling alternatives are available (Page 1.)
IMHO the most effective handling upgrades are as follows: (best "bang-for-the-buck")...

Reflashed ACD (E7-9 ALL)...
Front helical LSD (E4-8 GSR)... etc. |

Especially on the highway, it feels dangerous.
I recently (January) changed my ends inner and outer to NEW mitsu parts.
It seems to get worse when the tyres wear down a little.
The alignment is perfectly within factory specs. Thoughts?
Remember this is literally a daily driver eh, with occasional crack cocaine (read solodex). |
tramlining and bump steer... daily driver... Nagisa Pillow Tie Rod Ends is one alternative.
Silvermike's suggestion is another. Whiteline's rear Bump steer correction kit is cheaper too...
Whiteline wrote: | KCA388 - Rear bump steer kit is designed to change bump steer characteristics depending on driving conditions.
For racing it is beneficial to reduce the amount of bump steer to give a more positive feel, sharper handling,
reduced rear passive steer, and reduce understeer. |

Just as important, use Whiteline's Alignment Chart with their bushings.
