Gran Turismo head honcho Kazunori Yamauchi has dropped a couple of tidbits regarding the upcoming fifth instalment in the popular racing simulation franchise.
Speaking during a mini-interview concerning the relationship between the Audi R8 and Gran Turismo 5, Yamauchi confirmed that the sequel will feature improved visual effects, including weather changes and night time racing.
�We are also working flat out on a realistic graphic representation for rain and night,� he noted. More importantly, however, Yamauchi also reiterated that car damage will be present: �And damage to racing cars, we will soon be able to simulate.�
Gran Turismo 5 has yet to attract a solid release date, with recent reports pointing to a late 2009/early 2010 launch.
