Mitsu men help meh out here
I want to know what are the best brakes to use on my CK2A Lancer
both front and rear
the car has discs pads in front and shoes on the rear.
The car is equipped with ABS
the disc rotors are in good condition and so to the drums.
I would like to purchase the pads locally.
cost effective would be appreciated
I am currently using Daishin in the front and factory stock shoes in the rear
I do not want to re-use Daishin, since I am no loger satisfied with their performance.
I do some hard driving from time to time
so keep this in mind
I am gettin the GIC metallic pads at FT Farfan in San Juan on Friday
need to know what to put on the rear
P.S. Thanx to everyone who advised me on this post on 2nr _________________

I went shopping for the brakes today
I got the GIC metallic disc pads at FT Farfan-San Juan -TT$79.35 complete
and I got KTC shoes at El Soccoro Auto Supplies - TT$125.00 complete
the recommended OHK are a bit difficult to get for the rear, and even harder to get for the ABS models.
Everybody was offering me Noki, but not the shoes for the ABS application.
I was told at ESAS that the KTC were what they were sellin for the CK's with ABS, no complaints. so I will give them a try.
GIC Part Numbers:
Written on the pads
GIC 2626 FF
20904
Written on the box
SM3269
7483MD602
Dunno which is the part number, but those are all the numbers that I saw.
KTC Part Numbers:
MI-785
I never heard bout KTC, but I will give them a try
I got my don't-fit-then-return-cash-back offer at both places
Will update when I install them, prob during the week.
any thoughts? _________________
