solo i dont mean to be harsh or anything cuz it is yur friend, but disconnecting the kill switch for the kick stand was quite foolish, cuz its put there to prevent exactly what happened to yur friend and unfortunately he paid the highest price for a very bad decision.........RIP

and i've even seen it happen to ppl on bicycles and its not pretty.....so i can only imagine going at 100+kmph Neutral

^^^^Cacasplat3, in the bike world (and in the real world at that) while being harsh and straight forward may offend it may also cause a change in thought process....and who knows, that change may just save your life.
While I don't like to speak ill of the dead, there's just no other way to say that it was his mistake, and a foolish one at that.
He also had a practice of riding with his helmet cocked at the top of his head, a very unsafe and foolish practice..... Confused Another friend of mine who used to do that same sheit and was accoustomed to riding with his helmet unstrapped luckily strapped up his helmet after leaving a lime in St James one night, only to loop out after Nestle lights.....hitting the ground face first.....
He's a die hard advocate of full safety gear now though...

unfortunately it took him a fall to realise this.....but with his experience i'm sure he can convince others to follow the correct route when riding.....

know a guy who went down on a ZX14, was wearing only a helmet that was on, but not strapped, short pants and a t-shirt.....went down, serious road rash on this leg, arse, and arm.............although he dosent ride much again, he has learnt from his mistake...... Razz
