working to upgrade the metro 1300 that we have.
the engine runs but there are a few things that i want to do before i fit it into the car.
a fellow miniac has a new piper road/rally cam and some other parts for the metro A+ motor for $1g
i also want to refurbish the big valve cooper s head that we found and fit that as well.
i am also considering a small blow through turbo application
i already have the ignition for it and all i will need to get is a fuel pump with a higher pressure rating and a rising rate regulator. that and make the manifold and airbox,
i am only looking for about six PSI so i probably can get away without an intercooler.
i need to decide now before i spend money on LCB exhaust header. _________________ Livng life one day at a time

*********DAY 3 - The transplant begins*********
With the first 1300 engine shot, we turned our attention to the "other" mini, parked nearby! Once the bonnet was off it was time to break out the dreaded "Sawz-all". We were determined to get a powerplant for Project Mini and if she could start, this would be it.
Removing the home-made engine mount
Then the other engine stabilizer/mount
