I think for web viewing your contrast & colour is great. I only just wished (I know easier said than done with Rally) that the end of the car was in the shot - or maybe it was and crop/watermark is blocking it..

I say that only because there's so much space in the front of the car.. IF the shot was tighter and the front of the car was barely in the shot also it could work.

Wow I can see the fibers in the wick!

What if you cropped it like this.. flowing with the flame and making it a bit more dramatic.

Love the intimate feeling with the deeya and it's surrounding. I really like that you have another in the background..

I'm gonna edit two versions also and tell me what you think..

1. Here I cropped it and extended the top just a bit so that far light isn't hitting the top of the frame.

2. Here using the previous crop, just flipped the image... It's been said that a diagonal moving from left lower to right upper is more pleasing to the eye... So I tried it..

Thank you I like that edit and I also noticed that it needs to be rotated a touch CCW.

Thanks.......the truth is that I wasn't expecting the car to run off course, and took too long to get the entire car in the frame. I thought that the tires on the left would have made a good shot Confused
Actually, it was the first motorsport event that I used the Kodak, so I was trying to get accustomed shooting with the camera. In the rest of the pics I took that day, my problem was panning, so I know what I have to do.....practice Smile

Btw, check out some other shots here: Some Rally Finale '08 pics (25th Oct.)

Those were the actual colours? or you pshoped it? Any reasoning behind the layout or colour choices?
