I used the oil-filter adapter for the oil-pressure and oil-temp senders.
http://prosportgauges.com/oil-filter-adaptor-plate.aspx
I have an electrical gremlin problem that the dealership cannot replicate where if the a/c is on in the rain at night, my temp gauge climbs into the red, BUT the engine/water temp is actually normal.
So, I installed the Cyberdyne digi water-temp gauge so I can keep an eye on things and just totally ignore the stock gauge. I installed a water-temp sender radiator hose adaptor http://prosportgauges.com/water-temp-sender-radiator-hose-adaptor.aspx so I won't be using the stock sender or location in case the fault is there. _________________ www.ttonline.org

If your carburettor reaching by yuh battery pole I would assume that there are far more pertinent problems than fire in de manifold _________________

So, I need new 15" rims... someone stole 3 of the original wheelcovers, so I've put some cheap $15 black'n chrome covers on her
Original wheelcovers are $40 a piece!
Staying with 15' as the tyres are new.. also I could also just ditch the wheelcovers totally, but the parts of the wheels that were covered have rust on them (Florida/beach living). I could just have them sandblasted and then re-painted gloss-black.. but I'm not sure. _________________ www.ttonline.org

Got some cheapo grey wheel covers.. looks like crap.. oh well.
Now I'm getting a creak from the front left anytime I go over either a hump or slow down hard enough for the nose to squat.. *sigh* kinda sounds like a Nissan Patrol on a bumpy road
I'm going to ignore it for now, I have to get a grounding kit for her as the stock temperature gauge is stil giving false readings whenever there is a voltage drop below 13.2V, car passed a load test on the battery and the alternator is charging properly, happens everytime the a/c is on with the headlights and the cooling fans kick in... or basically evertime there is a high electrical load, the temp gauge will rise into the red, but the aftermarket gauge shows a nice steady normal reading and all fluids are good, no loss or overflow. _________________ www.ttonline.org

OK, I couldn't ignore the sound..
Took her in to the shop, they test drove her and then put her up on the lift, after thorough inspection, they could not find anything physically wrong or broken, the entire front-end is nice and tight.
They do hear the sound and have narrowed it down to the left-front upper control arm bushings. They say the grease in it may have dried-up. I have to look into changing both upper control arms sometime in the future, in the meantime, they lubed everything up and she's quiet again.... for now. _________________ www.ttonline.org

Powdercoating is way more durable, would still need to sandblast them first of course... _________________ Drags, Circuit, Solodex, Rally, Karting, the Shows, the Girls, the Car you drive...

Why the control arm have to change? Are there cracks in them? Would just changing the bushings be an option? If so, it would be a good time to consider going with polyurethane bushings. _________________
