Evo X MR Production Cancelled

I was just notified from my district rep stating that the "MR Production has been cancelled."

He was specific with the term "cancelled" vs "delayed". Confused

Anyway, since the 08 production of the IX is ending in May according to MMUSA is it possible that Mitsubishi might not introduce the MR as a 2009 model? Maybe they need more time to sort it?

(For those that don't know, the MR X is the SST Tranny, and the true stick shift is the GSR model)

Jeez!... Early days still and trouble in paradise already?

Any idea if its overall sales/marketing problem... or only drivetrain related issues?
