1800 horsepower! No, this is not a joke! While 9ff is trying to hit the 1000 hp barrier and crush the Bugatti Veyron�s record, Nelson Racing has obtained almost double than that!
The Mosler MT900S is an American Supercar powered by a mid mounted 435 hp Corvette Z06 V8.
Nelson Racing�s "red devil" looses the Corvette engine. Under the hood it gets a SBC 427 Twin Turbo engine built in house.
It is a completely changed engine, based on the 7 liter Small Block Chevy.
This engine is equipped with technology that allows it to accept two types of fuel: A "normal" fuel with which it develops 1150 horsepower, and a second that allows the engine to reach a maximum of 1800 horsepower. The driver even has a button on the dashboard that allows it to vary the power from 600 horses to 1800.
This is almost double that of the Bugatti Veyron and it only weights 1100 kilos!
