This event will take place at The Hasely Crawford Stadium on Sunday 11th November 2007, and will run from 10:00 am to 6:00pm.
Events of this nature are quite common internationally and are regularly hosted in other Caribbean jurisdictions such as Barbados and Jamaica. In addition, they attract competitors from various Motor Sport disciplines inclusive of Rally, Circuit, Solodex and Karting.
These events allow drivers to test their skills in a closed circuit, driving around pylons, over jumps and through chicanes (obstacles), in the shortest possible time. Super Specials have found favour with International Motor Sport organizers as they offer the immense advantage of greater numbers of spectators in a concentrated space.
It�s also timely to mention that this is the first event in a series of events to be held year round. In addition, all efforts are being made to attract foreign competition to future VK signature events." |
