I know the main vent on the EVO7's bonnet is for heat extraction.

Can anyone tell me what the NACA duct on the right of the bonnet is for?

I believe the airbox gets air from just below the bonnet next to the right headlamp.

They are on the Evo 6 bonnet as well. I can't figure out why either.
They look pretty but don't seem to add much to cooling or extraction. Confused
Maybe it was used with an old rally "homologation" item that didn't make it to
mainstream production?

I think they do add to the cooling..a while back I saw a WRC ford and where the vents where had 2 large fans attached under the bonnet, perhaps to draw cool air in or to pull hot air out..I am guessing mitsu. jus left the vents there to keep with the rally styling
